CAWiE is excited announce the first “Tech Talk” of the year!  The Tech Talk series is part of our efforts to increase the energy knowledge of our members and community. 

Participants will learn more about carbon capture utilization and sequestration from California policy and industry experts.  We hope to see you (virtually) there!

The panel discussion will be moderated by CAWiE Board member Amy Mmagu of Newlight Technologies.  Our speakers are now confirmed and include: 

- Barbara McBride, Director, Strategic Origination and Development for Calpine

- Rajinder Sahota, Deputy Executive Officer for Climate Research at the California Air Resources Board

- Dr. Sarah Saltzer, Managing Director of the Stanford Center for Carbon Storage and the Stanford Carbon Initiative
